Together Our Country Mourns

Friends and Supporters,

It’s with deep sorrow I’m posting today.

This is anything but a normal relaxing Sunday for the citizens of our country.

None of us were able to sit around the breakfast table this morning without being conscience of how thankful we are to have the members of our family safe, healthy and present.

That isn’t true for the families of the 50 plus people who were killed and the 53 plus people who were injured early this morning during a hideous attack on the LGBT community at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida.

Let’s be clear — This is not only the worst Mass Shooting in history, this was a Homegrown Extremist Terroristic Hate Crime!

The F.B.I. has more than 1000 open crimes considered to be homegrown terrorism, currently in need of investigation. I want to know - Why?

When Florida Governor, Rick Scott was asked - "what can be done to prevent this from happening?” He very feebly responded, "there will be plenty time to think about that later."

Sadly, time has run out on far too many Americans.

If Americans really want to "Make America Great Again," we need to start electing people who care about people.

Common-sense legislation might just save the life of someone you love.

You have my word, when I’m elected I will be fighting for common-sense solutions to prevent this from ever happening again.

My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their loved ones and my commitment is to all of you.

God Bless,

April Freeman
